  8. This document contains important information about Microsoft Flight
  9. Simulator 5.0a Update Disk.
  10.  
  11. You must install Flight Simulator 5.0 on your hard drive before you can
  12. install the update. To update Flight Simulator 5.0 to 5.0a, insert the 
  13. update disk and type UPDATE.  Install the update to the current directory 
  14. for Flight Simulator 5.0 (FLTSIM5).
  15.  
  16. Make sure you reinstall any Flight Simulator add-ons (for example, Microsoft
  17. New York, Microsoft Paris, or other scenery products).  
  18.  
  19. It does not delete your PILOTS directory which contains customized Logbooks, 
  20. Situations, and Videos.
